Diagnosis

Female flagellum with a 3-segmented clava; antennal scrobes as narrow grooves; frontal suture present in median 1/3 of frons; occipital margin sharp with posterior ocelli very close to margin; midlobe of mesoscutum with 1 pair of setae; scutellum with 1 pair of setae; with a narrow slit between scutellum and axillae; forewing with submarginal vein with 3 setae, strongly hairy and infuscate in median 1/3, postmarginal vein short, 0.3X as long as stigmal vein.

Brazil.

Biology

From galls on Copaifera langsdorffii (Fabaceae).
